![]() It has been an invaluable tool during the development of Basilisk II, SheepShaver and Frodo. But I wonder if I’m missing something obvious, or if something is wrong with SheepShaver that isn’t wrong on a real Mac. The primary intention behind cxmon was to provide a tool for emulation developers and other people that need to manipulate or inspect binary data and machine code. But, again, this question is probably about fifteen years too late.ĮDIT: I see that one workaround is to use the Edit with BBEdit menu item (which I suppose may be different if you have a different text editor installed). SheepShaver es un emulador de Apple Macintosh PowerPC lanzado en 1998 para BeOS y posteriormente para Linux.El nombre del programa debe en parte a otro emulador de Macintosh II llamado ShapeShifter (antecesor del Basilisk II). If this is a known problem with a known workaround, I’ll be glad to hear about it. This means that both BeOS/Linux and MacOS applications can run at the same time (usually in a window on the BeOS/Linux desktop) and data can be exchanged between them. First, let me tell about the road to avoid. SheepShaver is a MacOS run-time environment for BeOS and Linux that allows you to run classic MacOS applications inside the BeOS/Linux multitasking environment. The Clipboard viewer says that the contents of the clipboard after a copy are “styled text” but there’s no actual text in the clipboard viewer and nothing can be copied to any other application either. Two applications are included with the download: SheepShaver itself and an application for editing the settings file. The problem seems to be that SD doesn’t actually copy anything from itself to the clipboard. But I can’t paste any code that I’ve copied from another SD window (or the same SD window). In the SD 3.0.9 editing window, I can paste text from text editors, and I can paste scripts from the Script Editor. I realize that the time has passed for SD 3.0.9 support under OS 9.0.4 running in SheepShaver, but here’s an oddity that I came across, and I wonder if anyone remembers a workaround.
